CARE & USE

Please Read the Instructions Below Before Use.

INSTRUCTIONS

Unbox your cookware for the first time and wash the pans by hand using warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry completely. Diamond Shield Cookware does not require any additional preperation before use.

CARE AND USE

When preparing Diamond Shield pans always use low to medium heat. A quick way to check if the pans are preheated is to sprinkle a little water onto the pan’s surface, if it sizzles and forms tiny drops it is ready for use. If the water evaporates the pan is too hot...let sit and cool. Damage caused by overheating can compromise the surface’s non-stick performance.

For optimum results, oil and like products should added once the pan is properly pre-heated.

While becoming familar with the Diamond Sheild pan, we recommend low to medium heat to prevent overheating and burning. Diamond Sheild pans are oven safe up to 500˚F.

GUIDE TO PREVENT OVERHEATING

Please take note burning butter, oil, or any fat can leave a resin like deposit on the pan’s surface wich cannot be removed and will eventually destroy the quick realease non-stick quality of the pans surface. To avoid this happening please follow the chart below.

CLEANING TIPS

Diamond Sheild Cookware is dishwasher safe, but we recommend handwashing for the ultimate pan performance. An abrasive kitchen scouring pad can be used to remove traces of food and grease from the pans surface. Never submerge hot pans in to cold water.
